The court can make a vesting order with respect to a payor’s account to ensure payment of the equalization payment where the payor’s whereabouts were unknown and he had acted in bad faith incurring debts, including forging the recipient’s signature and non-payment of support (see Belton v. Belton, 2010 O.J. No. 1691).
